I’m reading this book now and think it’s really well-written. I’m 29 and have zero technical experience, but with every page I read, I feel more confident about being able to get a website running on my own some day. Thank you so much for making it so simple!

Stella… I know we both have kids who fight that power battle with us each day. I’m just so grateful we are able to learn how to stop fighting with them while we still have them… Just keep swimming!

Oh Wendy, you are making me cry.. I completely understand about those stolen moments… after so much of screaming and crying with “Will” power battle, unexpectanly, God present those stolen moments, which I just expereinced last night with my youngest daughter. Watching her sleeping beauty, still baby face, what were we fighting about?? Don’t remmber, but thanking God that he chose me to be her “mom”. So much gratitude… Praise Him all the way…. This is such a real life experience with teens. Having a daughter no doubt can be confusing time, one minute “They” hate the fact your near them and your breathing “wrong”~the next minute, “They” are needing you for something. Its when they need you, we can take those stolen moments with them. I have found having a son, finding those stolen moments as they go through the teen years is often harder. Since the are supposed to be the “tough guys” affection can be harder to give and even harder to receive. Reading this today and made me even more aware to try to squeeze these moments in with Seth especially since he is preparing to leave in August for basic training. I need to find those moments with him as “I” prepare for his departure and our family dynamics change forever!
